A BRIEF HISTORY
Founded in 1946, the school was originally named Taipei City Sung-Shan Junior High School Evening Programs. In 1955 it became independent with its name changed to Taipei City Sung-Shan Vocational Junior High School. The Interior Decoration Department was added in 1993, and the school was again renamed Taipei City Sung-Shan High School. of Commerce and Home Economics. Mr. Tsai, the current president, assumed his post in 1995. He has been diligently building up the entire setting on the foundation laid by his forerunners, and the goal is to train up solid technical professionals at the foundational level. Under his leadership Sung-Shan High School. of Commerce and Home Economics has become a school of spacious campus, state-of-the-art facilities, outstanding faculty and diversified curricula. It is an ideal place for those who are serious about learning.
