DEPT. OF INTERNATIONAL
TRADE
I. Objectives:
With the goals to develop students into high-caliber specialists
in international trade, this Dept. focuses on the know-how
and competence in International Trade Practice and trains
students into familiar skills in hands-on operation in International
Trade. Through better awareness of the fundamental theories
on International Trade and foreign trade policies of the Republic
of China, our Students will be fostered into sound “world
outlook” and enthusiasm in International Trade.
II. Highlights of curricula:
Other than the courses intended to help students get familiar
with specialized Subjects, the Department provides general
fundamental commercial courses as Well to further strengthen
hands-on operation in technique-oriented aspects.

III. Employment-orientation:
1. Trading personnel: To serve with trading houses as sales
assistants and Processors of trading papers.
2. Customs brokers: to take charge of customs brokerage and
work out Customs documentation.
3. Transportation personnel; To serve with forwarding houses
to arrange Transportation and handle word processing.
4. Insurance specialists: To serce with insurance houses to
take charge of Marine insurance and work out papers concerned.
5. Commerce talents: To serce with firms concerned as an accountant,
cashier or the like.
IV. Higher education:
1. Application for admission.
2. Accredited admission to higher education ghr0ough examinations
or screening
3. Joing entrance exminations to 4-year universities of technology
and 2-year colleges
4. Collegiate entrance examinations.
5. Individual joint entrance examinations.
6. Screenting process to universities/colleges for specific
targets.
